A little glimpse into an evening at Boothieville

Hilary took some shots at our home while she visited and sent them to me.  Here are a few:

Trudy always has so much homework.  Looks like the math finally got to her.  Her graph paper is a makeshift pillow.

Trudy is practicing with Mrs Peterson for her recital pieces, The Staffordshire Hornpipe, and the Keel Row, which I don't get tired of hearing.

What is this, you ask.  I assumed it was fort making in the bunk beds; but, no, I was mistaken and set to right.  These drapings of blankets and sheets over strung-up twine are nothing less than "privacy chambers."  Wow.  This one is Christiana's.

Noah peeks out from his privacy chamber.

Emily, on a top bunk, had to rig up some tacks from the ceiling to gain her privacy in her own chamber.

Rodger is reading the children their bible stories before bed, while they listen from their privacy chambers.  I guess it took the children a couple of hours to rig up these chambers.  I was gone to teach a class...
While the cat's away,
The mice do play...
